Casual Cleaner

Job Title: Casual CleanerLocation: Railton

Job Type: Casual - 5-6 hour shifts Monday to Friday from 11:30- 6pm or 1pm to 6pm, Occasional Shifts outside those hours/weekends.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Casual Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in cleaning and be committed to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for our staff and Clients.

Responsibilities:

- Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas

- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces

- Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly

- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces

- Restocking toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed

- Following all safety protocols and site procedures to ensure a safe working environment

- Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the team leader

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a cleaner or similar role

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbally

- Ability to work variety of shifts between 7am- 7pm Monday to Friday

- Ability to work occasional weekends as/when required/rostered for extra work

- Ability to work independently, as part of a team and follow instructions

- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 15kgs

- Reliable transportation to and from work
